How do I care for my earrings?

To keep your leather & faux leather earrings in great condition it is best to hang them up or lay them flat for storage. Try to store your jewelry outside of the bathroom and keep your earrings away from any water, make-up & hair products. They should be last accessory you put on after your already ready for the day.

Most of the earrings can be wiped clean with a damp cloth but be careful because water will discolor some of the lighter leathers. If your earring gets bent or starts to curl, it can be flattened with a barely warm iron. Cover the earring with a washcloth or towel and lightly steam the leather part of the earring (avoid the hooks) to flatten it. 

Sterling Silver, gold plating, and most metals will naturally tarnish over time and leather can accelerate that process. If you notice any discoloration on the hooks wiping them with a jewelry polishing cloth should shine them back up.
